While I'm wandering around in the bush, insects and spiders are the not the only things I come across. There are the obvious broad, sweeping landscapes and beautiful sunsets that are impossible not to notice. But there are also the more subtle things that make up these landscapes - a small, brightly coloured fungus sprouting up amongst the leaf litter; a patch of moss forming a small green island on an ocean of rock; or clouds reflected in the waters of a stream on a calm afternoon. These places provide homes for other wildlife, namely the mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds. Every now and then I am presented with the opportunity to photograph them and it would be remiss of me to pass up such an offer. The galleries below contain some of my favourite non-insect photos from various parts of this great country called Australia. Enjoy. |
