I have taken a slightly different step for the Leaf Beetle family. The subfamily Chrysomelinae is quite large and I feel that the gallery had become too big, making it difficult to manage and navigate. To overcome this, I have created this page, which will then let me break down the Chrysomelids a bit further. The other Chrysomelidae subfamilies will remain as single galleries for now, but the subfamily Chrysomelinae has been broken down to genus level. Please note that some beetles were previously placed in the genus Chrysophtharta, but this genus is now known as Paropsisterna. I would like to pass on my sincerest thanks to Chris Reid from the Australian Museum for his assistance in identifying some of my Leaf Beetles.
